Regional Manager, East Coast

The East Coast Regional is responsible for designated stores based in the East Region and works cross-functionally to create a data-informed regional customer strategy.
The Manager localizes rag & bone priorities centered on meeting the customer needs where they are, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and driving profitable top-line sales growth. This role creates an inclusive environment and develops diverse teams and leaders representing the communities we aspire to serve, as well as strengthening current customer relationships in the region through new, innovative initiatives.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Leadership
· Develops a deep understanding of, effectively communicates and broadly supports execution of company strategies and priorities
· Supports the implementation of company programs, procedures, methods, and practices to promote rag & bone key messages
· Strengthens retail staff’s access and connection to leadership through store visits, district conference calls and other means of communication; drives engagement and builds trust in rag & bone’s leadership
· Identifies and communicates key responsibilities and practices to ensure the organization promotes a successful attitude, confidence in leadership, and teamwork to achieve business results
· Ensures strategic alignment with cross-functional partners on regional strategy including product performance, customer experience, client retention and acquisition, marketing needs and planning
· Influences cross-divisional partners to achieve rag & bone strategies and ensure local relevance
· Manages and motivates Store Management population to drive the success of the business through key product pillars
Driving the Business & Operations
· Identifies business opportunities and implements actions to consistently achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual regional sales plans
· Develops and delivers region-wide strategy to drive client development activities and actions that cultivate new and existing clients in partnership with HQ
· Translates company strategies into actionable regional and store plans and executes successful delivery
· Collaborates cross divisionally to ensure support and execution of regional, store and company strategies, initiatives, projects, and people strategies
· Establishes and maintains visibility within the department/division/region
· Monitors operational statistics, reports trends, variances, and issues, and takes appropriate action
· Develops multi-year regional plan that grows brand awareness and customer acquisition to drive sales, service, market share, and profitability
· Manages store teams and monitors KPIs that measure regional plan effectiveness and adjusts as necessary
· Anticipates local challenges and opportunities to create multi-year regional plans to proactively drive commercial opportunity
· Aligns with other Regional Directors, to ensure consistency in quality and best practices for the customer and employee experience
· Collaborates with local brand engagement team and experiences team to identify and collaborate with business-critical community partnerships
· Challenges and inspires employees to achieve business results
· Ensures employees adhere to legal and operational compliance requirements
· Partner with corporate teams in overseeing all aspects of new store openings including local marketing efforts, operational procedures, store set-up, recruitment, and team development
· Ensure your VM team creates efficient and effective actions to increase customer satisfaction
· Keep up to date with fashion scene, trends, tendencies, styles, products, brands, competitors
· Ensure that the VM team secures window & styling execution accordingly to visual & commercial guidelines to create inspirational & commercial customer experience
· Experience with being solution focused to improve product presentation and commercial implementation in store
· Good knowledge of retail management, visual, commercial & operational best practices, routines, and tools
Talent
· Develops and executes a talent strategy for store management team to recruit, retain and develop a high performing team
· Continuously encourages, coaches, and provides qualitative feedback via weekly touch base meetings to improve net-sales results
· Networks and recruits to build a pipeline of diverse, highly skilled talent
· Oversees training and development of employees directly and indirectly managed and makes effective staffing decisions
· Conducts and ensures the completion of performance reviews
· Provides coaching, direction, and leadership support to employees to achieve department, company, and customer results
Qualifications
· 3+ years of extensive experience as a Field Multi-management in a luxury or service driven environment - past Flagship high volume Store Managers a plus
· Critical and strategic thinking to create regional level plans to achieve regional goals
· Financial and business acumen to drive profitability
· Demonstrated experience of cross-divisional partnership and collaboration
· Proven experience in establishing vision and goals; developing strategic plans and leading cross-divisional teams in accomplishing key strategic initiatives
· Ability to manage significant ambiguity
· Proven track record of developing and promoting diverse talent
· Understanding of Omni-channel and customer field programming
· Ability to travel as required
· Establishes trust and inspires others
· Makes effective organization and people decisions in a manner consistent with rag & bone’s values and ethics
· Champions the organization and advocates solutions in the overall Company's best interest

· Must have a working knowledge of spreadsheets, formulas, and pivot tables
· The salary range for this position is $140,000 – $170,000 annually. The target salary is $150,000, but we are flexible depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications
