Job Summary: An exciting opportunity to join the denim design team, working exclusively on our iconic "miramar" range. Support all aspects of the miramar design process; maintaining the aesthetic and integrity of the rag & bone brand, while balancing the needs of the business.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Senior Designer and Design Director to identify trending seasonal big ideas, key trends, and silhouettes relevant to rag & bone and participate in initial concept meetings
Design and innovate within the miramar category, providing new and exciting ideas with denim wash and print inspiration
Minimum 3 years design experience ideally with experience in denim and knits
Knowledge in knits & denim manufacturing (including construction and fit) and component sourcing/manufacturing (materials development, duties, etc).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to problem-solve when dealing with specifications, construction or material issues with vendors.
Strong Photoshop & Illustrator skills
Strong sketching and design capability
Knowledge and understanding of fit
