Position Overview:
The Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable and innovative Salesforce Commerce Cloud digital commerce solutions. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to enhance customer experiences, drive revenue growth, and ensure the seamless integration of Salesforce Commerce Cloud into the overall rag & bone technology ecosystem. The architect will be part of rag & bone Salesforce Commerce Cloud SCRUM development team and will play an active role in improving our rag & bone Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud solution.

This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to enhance customer experiences, drive revenue growth, and ensure the seamless integration of Salesforce Commerce Cloud into the overall rag & bone technology ecosystem. The architect will be part of rag & bone Salesforce Commerce Cloud SCRUM development team and will play an active role in improving our rag & bone Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud solution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, and development of rag & bone Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud (SFCC) solutions to meet business needs and customer experience goals.
- Ensure alignment with Salesforce development best practices, scalability, and security standards.
- Collaborate with our product owners, developers, QA/DevOps team to refine, estimate, develop, and deliver the user stories.
- Perform peer-to-peer code review to ensuring code quality.
- Design and implement integrations between Salesforce Commerce Cloud and third-party solutions.
- Ensure performance optimization and drive continuous improvements in platform functionality, scalability, and stability.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, data flow, and system integration blueprints.
- Stay current with Salesforce platform updates, emerging trends, and industry best practices.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex technical issues, providing guidance and resolution strategies.
- Participate in project planning, estimation, and road mapping to align solutions with long-term business goals.
- 3+ years of experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud SFRA architecture, development, and implementation.
- Proven track record of delivering and updating SFCC SFRA solutions.
- Deep understanding of SFCC SFRA MVC architecture, pipelines, and cartridge concepts
- Expert with HTML, CSS, ISML, JavaScript
- Hands-on experience with integrating Salesforce Commerce Cloud SFRA with backend systems (ERP, PIM, OMS).
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to architect creative and scalable solutions.
- Excellent communication with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with SCRUM development framework.
- Salesforce certifications (B2C Commerce Architect, B2C Commerce Developer) preferred.
- Experience with SFCC SFRA integration with Dynamics 365, Adyen, Vertex, Global-e, Amplience, YotPo, Klaviyo, Narvar, GA4 and ProductUp
- Experience working with JIRA and Confluence
- Knowledge of headless commerce architecture and microservices.
- Familiarity with personalization, merchandising, and AI-driven recommendations in e-commerce platforms.
