Job Summary:  
The Production Manager to own the end-to-end production process for our footwear and accessories lines. You'll be the operational engine behind getting product from proto to shelf — managing costs, coordinating with overseas factories, and keeping cross-functional teams aligned every step of the way. 

Responsibilities: 
  • Scheduling, and workflow management 
  • Experience in quality assurance, quality control, and adherence to industry standards 
  • Communicate daily with overseas factories to ensure production orders are being manufactured according to schedule, specifications, and quality standards 
  • Coordinate, create, modify, and distribute purchase orders independently and in collaboration with the team to balance workload and meet production timelines 
  • Communicate production priorities and updates across cross-functional teams including merchandising, marketing, and operations 
  • Track and maintain WIP reports and production timelines  
  • Negotiate costs, lead times, and production terms with suppliers  
  • Track, organize, and manage marketing materials related to production and launches 
  • Review, process, and communicate comments and approvals on artwork and packaging submitted by factories 
  • Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and consistency across all production documentation and approvals 
  • Identify and resolve production issues proactively to minimize delays and disruptions 
Footwear Cost Management: 
  • Manage and track costing from proto through production  
  • Work with Manager on cost exercises and negotiations  
  • Analyze CBD ensuring charges are accurate  
  • Prepare costing files for internal meetings  
  • Participate in product reviews and note changes in design, material or cost  
  • Call out any product concerns to Merch and Design during development and production stage  
  • Enter costing and duty rates into Fashion Flow  
  • Work with factories and Logistics team on classifications and duty rates  
  • Work with merchandising, sales, and planning to review & confirm final buys  
  • Have factories complete Product Detail Sheets and work with Logistics/Broker to confirm HTS/duty rates  
Footwear and Accessories Production: 
  • Issue, maintain & update bulk POs with xf, delivery dates, and costing  
  • Update seasonal factory WIP: with final buys & BOMs  
  • Maintain seasonal master WIP through production - deliveries
  • Monitor & track sample timing for CFM, wear test, AD samples, TOPs  
  • Communicate daily with vendors to troubleshoot any production issues that arise  
  • Monitor communication between finished goods vendors & raw material vendors  
  • Troubleshoot potential issues & partner cross functionally to find a solution  
  • Communicate delays & production shortages/overages cross functionally  
  • Ensure system accuracy with logistics  
  • Send comments and approvals on CFM, TOP to ensure they meet spec & quality standards  
  • Assist manager with 3rd party QC process  
  • Monitor bulk penetration by factory and COO  
Bulk Materials 
  • Ensure bulk material comments are up to date post SMS reviews  
  • Send bulk recaps to suppliers once bulk orders are placed  
  • Coordinate any material/product testing with Compliance Team
  • Liability - Review bulk material liabilities and manage payment/amortization  
Administrative 
  • Code all production invoices in Medius Flow and ensure invoices are submitted and paid on time 
  • Own Footwear style#’s and setting up in Fashion Flow  
  • Oversee setting up Color Names in D365  Check all style names with Legal before market  
  • Issue New Vendor Forms and set up with AP  
  • Support the setup and lifecycle of third party Collegium product 

Requirements:  
  • 3-5 years of experience in production management within the footwear or accessories industry.
  • Proficiency in issuing, tracking, and updating bulk purchase orders including ex-factory dates, delivery dates, and costing. 
  • Experience maintaining and updating seasonal WIP reports including final buys, BOMs, and delivery milestones.

Salary: The target hourly rate for this role is between$30 and $35 based on candidates experience and expectations.
